Printed Work: Viewbook

Take a look around. I've got some, not all, of my work here. I've done work for small non-profit organizations, such as the University of Hawaii - West Oahu - Center for Labor Education & Research, Hawaii People's Fund, several unions, etc. Currently, I am a Digital Art lecturer at Leeward Community College, a part time media specialist with the University of Hawaii West Oahu, and I do workshops on design for small businesses and non-profit organizations in my spare time.

Webdesign: Honolulu Record Digital Archives Project

I believe in telling stories. Since the invention of tape recorders and audio tours, museums have embraced technology to provide more engaging ways for patrons to interact with exhibits. Since the advent of the internet, visitors no longer have to travel to learn or experience another culture or era. We can bring these experiences to them.

The interactive website will be a giant digital canvas.  We will fuse databases, artifacts, animation, Web technology, video, text and graphics into stories that adapt to different learning styles and interests. It will be a two-way storytelling tool that empowers visitors where they are able to expand and steer their own stories.

Fun Stuff: Buttons galore + Student Portfolios

Here are some of my students' electronic portfolios. They've progressed from basic digital art projects using Photoshop to creating a web designed electroonic portfolio in Photoshop. They never cease to amaze me.

And then take a look at what I like to do in my spare time. Buttons have become my new medium.
